  • Assisting patients with their general inquiries

  • Transferring patients to the appropriate department that may assist them with their concern

  • Creating and maintaining patient charts and staff work schedule

  • Scheduling/cancelling/rescheduling doctor/provider appointment, telemedicine, medication refills, hospital and medical services

  • Coordinating patient’s valuable information using internal messaging system

  • Checking of patient’s active health insurances and its coverage including proper setting of expectation how much out of pocket expenses need to be settled

  • Complies with hospital and legal requirements by fostering practices that adhere to the hospital’s rules and regulations, and HIPAA

  • Respects patient’s rights by maintaining their confidentiality

  • Maintains patient care database by entering new information as it becomes available

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related result as needed
